Annette L. (Weaver) Michaud

Annette L. Michaud, 63, of Willshire, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Annette was born on July 1, 1959, in Van Wert, Ohio to the late John “Dick” Weaver and Irene E. (Staniszewski) Weaver-Harkless. On May 26, 1984, she married Bradley E. Michaud.

Annette was a 1977 graduate of Heritage High School and she attended the St. Paul’s Church-German Church Rd. She worked in Food Services for Crestview Local Schools for 22 years.

She loved being a Gaga and her grandchildren were her whole world. She enjoyed being poolside in the summertime and gardening and planting flowers. She enjoyed decorating for the Christmas season and loved her Labrador Retriever, the late Tucker Eugene.

Annette is survived by her husband of 38 years, Brad E. Michaud of Willshire, OH; father-in-law, Jesse (Carolyn) Michaud of Willshire, OH; 2 sons, Cody (Jesselyn) Michaud of Ohio City, OH and Cory (Haley) Michaud of Van Wert, OH; 2 daughters, Courtney (Dane) Hinsey of Leo-Cedarville, IN and Haley Michaud of Willshire, OH; 2 brothers, Steve (Linda) Weaver of Columbia City, IN and Rick (Tricia McKee) Weaver of Ft. Wayne, IN; 2 sisters, Diane Nelson and Nancy (Jack) Smith both of Ft. Wayne, IN; 6 grandchildren; Huxton Hinsey, Rowan Hinsey, Palmer Michaud, Thomas Michaud, Jesse Michaud and Jackson Michaud.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Bubby; stepfather, Albert “Abe” Harkless; brother-in-law, Dick Nelson; sister-in-law, Kathy Weaver; mother-in-law, Linda Michaud.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, also at the funeral home, with visitation an hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow in Fletcher Cemetery in rural Willshire, OH. 

Memorials may be to the Wren/Willshire EMS, Ohio City EMS, or Van Wert EMS.
