Ariana Julia Thompson, 26, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital. She was born in Ft. Wayne, IN, on December 15, 1996, the daughter of Kevin C. Williams and Jennifer K. (Lapp) Wilson.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Decatur. She loved to read, collect books and pens, and color. She was very passionate about lifting others up especially when they were feeling down. For many years she battled with health issues, but was never defined by her illness and as a result lived life to the fullest in her short 26 years.
Ariana is survived by her mother and step father, Steve L. & Jennifer K. Wilson of Decatur; her father, Kevin C. Williams of Ft. Wayne; 2 brothers, Sebastien M. Wilson of Ft. Wayne and Brendan M. Wilson of Decatur; and a sister, Ava L. Wilson of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her son, Clayton Matthew – Warren Thompson.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, with visitation 1 hour prior from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Branch President John Symon will be officiating and a luncheon will follow at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
