Ashley M. Harris

Ashley Mae Harris, 31, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away in the comfort of her home in Geneva, IN on December 12, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born April 28, 1994, to Bart and Amanda Harris in Decatur, IN.

Ashley was a warrior. She faced many health battles, but she kept a smile on her face through it all. She was a fighter and advocate for others facing health battles She was an animal lover, especially fond of dogs. Her thing to do was vacation in Tennessee, she loved the mountains. She was a happy soul who brightened any room she was in. She loved bright colors and reality TV. She will be missed immensely by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her parents, Bart and Amanda Harris of Geneva; sister Jessica Sutton, Decatur; grandparents Bruce and Karen Voshell; uncles Chad Haines, Rob Voshell, and Matt (Carolyn) Voshell.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Roy and Cassie Haines, paternal grandparents Sheldon and Fran Harris. She was also preceded in death by her best friend, Maggie Wiederholt.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – Noon, Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, followed by a 12:00 p.m. funeral service with Rocky Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.
