Beverly D. (Gumm) Miller

Beverly D. Miller, 68, of Monroe, IN, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 at her residence. Beverly was born in Franklin, IN on March 7, 1958, the daughter of the late Eugene R. Gumm and Annie P. (Ogden) Gumm. On February 14, 2012 she married Steven R. Miller.

Beverly was a 1976 Bellmont H.S. graduate and attended some classes at college. She was self-employed for 25-30 years as an in-home caregiver for the elderly. Beverly loved taking care of people and her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Steven R. Miller of Monroe; son, William Spencer (Faith) Patch of Marengo, IN; 2 step-daughters, Samantha Louise Miller of New Haven and Nicole Conn of NC; 2 brothers, Michael E. Gumm of Decatur and Dennis R. Gumm of Harlan, IA; grandchildren, Isaiah (Brook) Miller Groves, Devin (Kayla) Conn, Zachary Conn, Elijah Conn, Clementine Patch, Oakley Patch, Sojourner Patch, Alex Miller and Jordan Miller.

Visitation will from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to her Grandchildren’s Education Fund, checks payable to Steven Miller.
