Bradley Allyn Shell, age 56, passed away Saturday, May 20th at 5:53 p.m. at Cincinnati Hospice Care (Blue Ash) surrounded by family and friends. Brad was born August 4th, 1966. He was the son of the late Joe and Margo (Shell) Broome.
He attended Parkway High School, and graduated in 1984. Following graduation, he attended Ohio Northern University, and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelors in Music. He taught music education at Crestview, Williamsburg, and Western Brown Local Schools.
He was the director and saxophone player for the Williamsburg Community Band in Williamsburg, Ohio. This band allowed Brad to grow as a musician, and touch the lives of many people with music. Outside of his own musical talents, Brad followed his favorite band, Here Come the Mummies.
Along with his love for music, Brad loved his Fort Wayne Komets, Las Vegas Golden Knights, and Cincinnati Reds. He loved to travel to watch his favorite teams play.
Brad was employed with Macy's Corporate Office in Cincinnati, as a Supervisor in the Customer Service Department, and he always loved his job.
Brad is survived by his Aunt Vickie Shell of Celina, Ohio. His cousins Vickie Buckmaster in Bradenton, Florida, Gregg Buckmaster in Rockledge, Florida, and Gary Buckmaster in Dallas, Texas. He was also a proud Godfather of Abigail (Browning) Bretz.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Margo (Shell) Broome, maternal grandparents Harry and Devona (Painter) Shell, and his uncle Arley Buckmaster.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Bradley (Brad) will be held for family and friends on July 1, 2023 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Hillside Bed and Breakfast, 2751 Van Wert Mercer County Line Rd, Willshire, Ohio 45898.
