Carol Jean (Kiser) Coon

Carol J. Coon, 85, of Berne, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Envive Healthcare of Berne. She was born in Decatur, IN, on August 20, 1938, the daughter of Edman and Isabel L. (Pitser) Kiser.

She was a homemaker and worked at E.P.C. in Geneva.

Carol is survived by her sons, Ron (Lynn) Coon of Zephyr Hills, FL, Mark Coon of Huntington, IN; daughters, Terrie Cover of Geneva, IN, Candace Winget and Brenda Fields both of Decatur, IN; grandchildren, Jason & Brian Lautzenheiser, Michael Cover, Eric & Rocky Winget, Trinity Coon; several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 son-in-laws, Daniel Winget and Coleman Fields; a brother, John Kiser.

Visitation will be from Noon – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, followed by a Graveside Service in Decatur Cemetery.
