Carole A. (Miller) Martin

Carole A. Martin, 83, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Christian Care in Bluffton. She was born in Decatur, IN, on June 20, 1942, the daughter of the late Clarence L. Miller and Zeffie E. (LaTurner) Miller. On January 2, 1963, she married E. Leroy Martin and he preceded her in death on July 11, 2017.

She was a member of Mt. Hope Church of the Nazarene and worked as a homemaker.

Carole is survived by her son, Marty (Joyce) Martin of Decatur; 4 siblings, Steve Miller, Becky (Darwin) Pierstorff, Joe (Paula) Miller, and Murilene (Denny) Grote all of Decatur; a grandson, Jesse L. (Christy) Martin of Convoy, OH; 2 great grandchildren, Ayden & Zayden Martin of Convoy, OH.

She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Lora Martin; a brother, Alan Miller; 2 sisters-in-law, Virginia Miller and Diane Miller.

A Private Family Service was held and burial took place in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Pastor Tom Hartman officiated.

Arrangements were entrusted to Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, Decatur, IN.
