Carole Staley Rohr, born on July 14, 1939, in Peoria, Illinois, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, in Decatur, Indiana. She was 86 years old.
Carole was the beloved daughter of George and Ruth Rohr (née Staley) and grew up surrounded by her siblings: Michael Rohr, David Rohr, George "Bill" Rohr, Chuck Rohr, Mary Laughlin (Rohr), and Sharon Bartholomew (Rohr). She graduated from high school in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and pursued some college courses before embarking on a life filled with love and dedication to her family.
Carole briefly served in the military before embracing her most cherished role as a homemaker and mother. Her devotion to her family was unparalleled, and she found immense fulfillment in nurturing those she loved. A devout Christian throughout her life, Carole's faith was a cornerstone of her character and guided her through life's journey.
She is survived by her loving brother, Michael Rohr; her children, Rick N. Reilly and Leslie A. Reilly-Green (Travis); four grandchildren, Danielle (Tom), Richard (Amanda), Christopher (Kayla), and Nickolas (Misty); six great-grandchildren, Kasey, Eric, Quentin, Amelia, Emberlynn, and Harlann. Carole's legacy lives on through the lives of those she held dear.
Carole is also survived by her loving ex-husband of 37 years, Richard C Reilly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Rohr; her brothers, David Rohr, George "Bill" Rohr, and Chuck Rohr; her sisters, Mary Laughlin (Rohr) and Sharon Bartholomew (Rohr).
Carole will be remembered for the love she poured into her family and the faith that sustained her throughout her life. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
