Deloris C. (Zurcher) Hirschy

Deloris C. Hirschy, 93, of Monroe, IN, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Swiss Village. She was born on January 24, 1929, in Monroe, IN, to the late Christian and Martha Zurcher. She married Sylvan Hirschy, he preceded her in death on July 13, 1996.

She was a member of the Berne Nazarene Church, was a homemaker and also worked for Steiner Cleaning, cleaning homes and businesses. Deloris loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed flowers, gardening and worked hard on her family farm.

Deloris is survived by her son, Arlan (Fritz) Hirschy of Monroe; 2 daughters, Wanda Hirschy and Anita Strome both of Monroe; a brother, Merlin Zurcher of Berne; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 4 sisters & 2 brothers.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Berne Nazarene Church.

A Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022, at Berne Nazarene Church, with an hour calling prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Burial will follow immediately after in Ray Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Berne Nazarene Church.
