Dennis D. Springer

Dennis D. Springer, 62, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on November 9, 1961, in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of Franklin Springer Sr. and Barbara (Dix) Springer. On June 21, 1986, Dennis married Tina J. Hann.

He was employed at Stone-Street Quarries Inc., where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 20 years.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 38 years, Tina Springer of Decatur, IN; his children, William (Angela Walker) Dager of Lansing, MI, Tricia Springer of Decatur, IN, and Amanda Springer (Rick Bacon) of Bluffton, IN; sisters, Penny Stephens of Waynedale, IN, and Judy Walda of Monroeville, IN; a sister-in-law, Jean (Danial) Coleman of Redkey, IN; 5 grandchildren, Jarred Voirol & Jarrett Voirol of New Haven, Keven Loshe & Livyanna Murua-Cuney of Decatur, Nevaeh Springer of Bluffton; also numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Barb Springer; a brother, Franklin Springer Jr.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024, at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Family.
