Obituary
Donald E. Langdon, 90, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Envive Health of Berne. Donald was born on January 9, 1933, son of the late Mark W. and Murl (Rarick) Langdon.
Donald attended Decatur Church of God. He was self-employed in sales. Donald loved watching his grandkids play sports, which turned him into a huge Bellmont sports fan. He served his country from 1953-1955 in the US Army.
He is survived by his 2 sons, Greg (Louise) Gaskill and Jeff Gaskill (partner Mindy Hake) all of Decatur; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Donald was preceded in death by 3 brothers, David W., Edsel “Zeke” and Richard “Sam” Langdon; an infant sister, Mary Jo Langdon.
Visitation will be from Noon-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, followed by Military Rites rendered by the American Legion Post #43 Color Guard.
Preferred memorials are to Decatur Church of God.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Eaton, IN.
