Donna J. Owens

Donna J. Owens, 87, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Adams Woodcrest. She was born January 4, 1938, in Decatur, IN, the daughter of Harold D. and Erma B. (Gage) Owens.

She was a member of Grace First Community Church, formerly First Methodist Church. Donna enjoyed Sunday School Class and served on many committees within the church. She was employed at Haggard & Armes Funeral Home as the preneed counselor and secretary.

She is survived by her sister, Linda G. Drake of Decatur; nieces, Shannon Seip of Fort Wayne, IN, Lori Lybarger of Silver Lake, IN, Shaunn Munn of Plymouth, IN, Kimberly L. Wolfe and Gloria M. Cooper both of Decatur, IN; special great niece & nephew, Mary Anne and Joseph Bleakney.

Donna was preceded in death by her two sister, Mary Ann Lybarger & Carolyn Baumgartner.

A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Porter Auditorium Adams Woodcrest, with a memorial visitation before the service from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.

Chaplain Tom Banks will be officiating and an Inurnment will take place in Decatur Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to The Flower Garden at Grace First Community Church.
