Ernest Girod Obituary

Ernest K Girod, one day old infant son of Ernest A. and Sarah (Schwartz) Girod, passed away Saturday October 15, 2022 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He is survived by his parents, three brothers Andrew, Mino and Benjamin, two sisters Amy and Rosa all at home. Ernest is also survived by his paternal grandparents Eli B and Amanda K Girod of Geneva, IN., and maternal grandparents Aaron Q. and Rosie R. Schwartz of Geneva, IN.

Ernest was a member of the old order Amish. His funeral services were held at his parents home on 9803 S. 225 E. Geneva, IN. Burial will be held at Bunker Hill Cemetery in Geneva. Bishop Jonas E. Hilty officiated the service.
