Evelyn L. (Bates) Guadagnano

Evelyn L. (Bates) Guadagnano, 85, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022. She was born in Stover, Missouri, on September 8, 1936, the daughter of Newton C. and Opal Lucille (Schokly) Bates. In 2001, she was united in marriage to Salvatore Guadagnano, he preceded her in death in 2014.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, in Berne. Evelyn was employed in Raytown, MO, at H & H Color Lab and spent 20 years working in the print shop.

Evelyn is survived by her sons, Stephen C. Montez of Decatur, IN, and John M. Montez of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stillborn son and a sister, Virginia Seck.

An Inurnment in White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, Missouri, will take place at a later date.
