Jacque L. (Fawbush) Schug

Jacque L. Schug, 66, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Adams Memorial Hospital. She was born in Decatur, on January 28, 1956, the daughter of Lillard “Jack” and Viola (Schaefer) Fawbush.

She graduated from Belmont High School in 1974. On November 15, 1975, she married Neal Schug. She was a homemaker for many years, raising her children, which was her passion in life. Jacque also worked in production, employed at Peyton’s Northern, retiring in 2011.

She was very artistic, some of her art is displayed at Adams Public Library and at the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis. She loved to crochet, adored her children and grandchildren very much.

Jacque is survived by her spouse of 46 years, Neal Schug of Decatur; 4 sons, Matthew (Jennifer) Schug of Portland, IN, Kenneth Schug of Geneva, IN, Christopher (Susan) Schug of Craigville, IN, Bryce (Christine) Schug of Bluffton, IN; a brother, David (Penny) Fawbush of Fort Wayne, IN; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Vickie Fawbush and Jeanie Vogan.
