Joseph K. Linser

Joseph K. Linser, 68, of Van Wert, OH, passed away Monday afternoon, April 14, 2025, at Van Wert Hospital. He was born on June 2, 1956, in Van Wert, OH, the son of the late John K.  and Shirley (Dias) Linser.

He was formerly employed at Master Spa in Fort Wayne and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 6236 in Decatur, IN. He was a 1974 graduate of Van Wert High School.

Joe enjoyed spending time with family and socializing with his friends.

He is survived by his twin daughters, Jessica (Chris) Privett of Ossian, IN, and Tiffany (Wes) Lamons of Decatur, IN; a brother, John (Brenda) Linser of Ossian, IN; a sister, Sherry (Gary) Morris of Duluth, GA; 11 grandchildren, Mecennah Brandenburg, Taren (Camryn) Nichelson, Maddex Amweg, Zaydan Lamons, Trey Privett, Tenley Privett, Maven Amweg, Terryck Privett, Malakelea Lamons & Oaksdin Lamons; a great grandchild, Blayke White.

Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Linser.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home. Please dress in casual attire.
