Joyce E. Wable

Joyce E. Wable, 75, of Monroe, passed away Thursday morning, May 21, 2026, at Adams Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 5, 1951, in Decatur to the late Robert A. and Velma P. (Herman) Wable.

Joyce attended Springhill Church. She loved her family very much and loved watching western movies. She was a homemaker and worked at CTS for 15 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Michell (Eric) Winget of Decatur; 2 grandchildren, Shaun Hurst of Decatur and Angel (Josh) Nussbaum of Geneva.

She was preceded in death by a sister Carolyn Wable; and her significant other, Michael Johnston.

A private family graveside will be in Backesto Cemetery.
