Julie A. (Loshe) Moellering

Julie A. (Loshe) Moellering, 65, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Julie was born on April 6, 1959, in Decatur, IN, the daughter of Ronald B. and Bernadette K. (Lootens) Loshe.

Julie was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Julie was a 1977 graduate of Bellmont High School. She loved to paint, collect angels, and watch horror movies. Her favorite flower were pansies. Julie loved being a grandma and spending time with her grandchildren. She had worked for Fleetwood Motors, Eatons in Van Wert, Tri-Tech in Decatur and for the St. Joe Daycare.

Julie is survived by her father, Ron Loshe of Decatur; 2 children, Missy Lowe of Coos Bay, OR and Jon (April) Moellering of Decatur; 8 grandchildren, Alexis (Tyler) Stewart, Gwendolyn (Ben) Smith, Lilly (Dakota) Burdette, Brayden Moellering, Cameron Kamdar, Nevaeh Moellering, Lily Kamdar and Korben Moellering; a great-grandson, Gene Burdette and a great-grandchild on the way; 3 sisters, Terri (Rick) Beeler, Kathy (Scott) McGill and Susie (Timothy) Ehlerding. Her 2 cats, Cookie, and Aslan.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernadette K. Loshe and her brother, Richard B. “Rich” Loshe

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1:00 p.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church on Monday, April 29, 2024, with Father David Ruppert officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the St. Mary’s Parish Hall. **Please park in the 4th St. lot next to the gym.**

Inurnment will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Columbarium at a later date.
