Margaret Lillian (Smith) Murray

Margaret L. Murray, 87, of Decatur, IN, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Margaret was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 26, 1936, to the late William and Gladys Smith. Margaret was married to Ovid Murray Jr. on May 16, 1990, he preceded her in death on December 25, 2004.

Margaret was originally from Detroit and worked for a sticker factory. She then moved to Decatur in 2011. She loved spending time with her daughter June and grandson Paul and her 2 cats Felix and Stark. She was an avid shuffle board player which she loved playing.

Margaret is survived by her 2 sons, Carl, and Kerry Raymer; 3 daughters, Faye Lamento, Karen Bowman, and June Richardson; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Eddie, and Donny Raymer; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

No Services will be held.
