Maurine Knavel Obituary

Maurine K. Knavel, 87, of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Tranquility of Rockford Nursing Home in Rockford, Ohio. Maurine was born in Muncie, Indiana on July 21, 1936, to the late Maurice and Marsella (Whelage) Deiser. She was married to Jerry W. Knavel for 52 years before he passed away.

Maurine had worked in different doll shops in Warren, Berne and Denton, TX, and also worked for Texas Instruments, CTS and Magnavox.

She is survived by 3 sons, Donald, Dennis and David Walker; 2 daughters, Debra Bowen and Diana Walker; 2 brothers, Donald and Mike Deiser; a sister, Christine Wetzel; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Per the family wishes, there will be no services.
