Maxine Everett

Maxine Everett, 69, of Decatur, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Maxine was born in Decatur on October 7, 1955, to the late Charles M. Striker and Francis E. Bowman. On October 9, 1976, she married Ronald A. Everett. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2022.

Maxine was a homemaker. She loved hanging out with people.

She is survived by her children, Craig Sweat of Muncie, IN, Ron (Jill) Everett of Decatur, IN, Randy (Jawna) Everett and Joshua (Liz) Everett both of Bluffton, IN; 4 siblings, Debbie Schwartz, Ron Gallogly, Barbie Wilson and Heidi Bowman; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Maxine was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Teresa Striker.

A Memorial Visitation will be on Monday, December 16, 2024 from Noon – 3:00 p.m. at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
