Melissa Lowe Obituary

Melissa M. (Moellering) Lowe, age 48, a native of Decatur, IN, passed away on December 9, 2025, in Coos Bay, OR, where she had resided in recent years. She was born on December 6, 1977, in Decatur, to Julie A. (Loshe) Moellering.

Melissa had a love for reading, baking cookies, gardening, and jamming to all genres of music, especially musicals and show tunes.

Melissa will be remembered with love by her family and all who knew her.

Melissa is survived by her three daughters: Alexis (Tyler) Stewart, Gwendolyn (Benjamin) Smith, and Lillian Burdette, and her two grandsons, Gene Hammons and Arias Hoehn. Her brother, Jon (April) Moellering, also survives her.

Melissa was preceded in death by her mother, Julie A. (Loshe) Moellering.
