Olin W. Moeschberger

Olin W. Moeschberger, 84, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Adams Woodcrest. Olin was born in Decatur on September 19, 1941, to the late Arthur W. and Milita (Egly) Moeschberger. On July 28, 1962, Olin married Shirley Miller.

Olin attended St. Luke Church. He was members of the Eagles Lodge, Moose Lodge, Fort Wayne Weavers Guild and with the Graphic Communications International Union. He started his job career as a printer with Decatur Daily Democrat, then went on to work for EP Graphics, Ft. Wayne Newspaper, and Renaissance Publishing.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley Moeschberger of Decatur; his children, Deanna (Mike) Stuckey and James (Amy) Moeschberger both of Monroe, IN; brother, Don (Connie) Moeschberger of Kokomo, IN; sister, Rev. Karen Moeschberger of Lafayette, IN; brother-in-law, Paul Fried of Menomonee Falls, WI; 2 grandchildren, Kelsie (Tyler) Neuenschwander and Kaylee Moeschberger.

Olin was preceded in death by a sister, Maris Fried.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Woodcrest Porter Auditorium, followed by a 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service with Pastor Jay Carter officiating. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery, rural Decatur.
