Paul A. Sommer

Paul A. Sommer, 80, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on January 14, 1944, in Decatur, to Eugene and Ruth (McBarnes) Sommer.

Paul served his country in the United States Navy. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge #1311 and a mechanic for Ron Zimmerman Mobil.

He is survived by his daughters, Amy Jo Sands of Niles, MI, Lori Lyn (Fred) Ballstaedt of Fox River Grove, IL; 2 brothers, John (Linda) Sommer of Decatur, IN, Roger Sommer of Columbia City, IN; 2 sisters, Barbara Cleveland of Florida, and Rebecca Sommer of Decatur, IN.

Per Paul’s request, there will be no services.
