Richard Guerra, 63, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital. He was born in Decatur, IN, on March 3, 1962, the son of the late Jose R. and Santiaga (Ramirez) Guerra.

He is survived by his lifetime partner, Joyella Habegger; a son, Richard Joseph (Hillary) Guerra; 3 daughters, Ashley Sipe, Pauline Habegger, and Christina Habegger; 4 brothers, Joseph (Sherry) Guerra, Pedro Guerra, Ephrain (Nancy) Guerra, Raymon Guerra; 4 sisters, Mary (Robert) Cuevas, Abelia Hernandez, Wanda Monterroso, Agatha (Jesse) Perez; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 23 nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Jesse, Johnny, and Julian Guerra; 2 nieces and nephews; 2 sisters-in-law, Susan and Tammy Guerra.

Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Haggard – Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
