Ronald Allen Johnson

Ronald Allen Johnson, 81, of Decatur, IN, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN, on November 28, 1944, the son of the late Lester W. and Marguerite O. (King) Johnson.

He graduated from Decatur High School in 1963. Ron worked at Decatur Industries for 29 years and in Dietary Services at Adams Woodcrest for 15 years.

Ron is survived by his sister, Barbara A. Jarshaw of Mason City, IA; an honorary niece Lori Jones of New Haven; and several friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jimmie D. Jarshaw.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Ron will be buried in Decatur Cemetery, at a later date.
