Rosemary C. Gase

Rosemary C. Gase, 85, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Adams Woodcrest. Rosemary was born on June 17, 1937, in Adams County, the daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary T. (Loshe) Gase.

She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and a member of the Women of St. Mary. She worked as the secretary for Sullivan & Brown Law Firm, where she retired after 55 years.

Rosemary is survived by her nephew, Rick Gase; her niece, Dawn McDonald both of Warsaw, IN; 4 great nephews, David Gunter, Daniel Gunter, Joseph Gunter, and Donald Gase; 2 great nieces, Jennifer Burner and Brandi Gase.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald Gase and David Gase; a sister-in-law, Diane Gase; a niece, Deborah Gunter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2023 in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with Father Stephen Colchin presiding. A Reciting of the Holy Rosary will be held at 12:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Parish Hall, with visitation to follow from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
