Ross A. Boxell

Ross A. Boxell, 54, of Decatur, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022, as the result of an auto accident. He was born in Anderson, Indiana, on September 7, 1967, the son of the late Daniel L. and Janice C. (Skinner) Boxell. On June 20, 1987, he married Christina K. Sweat.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagle Aerie 2653, where he was currently serving as a Trustee, for the last decade and was also part of the Eagle Riders. Ross was a member of the APA Pool Club of Wren, Ohio. He worked for many years at Reinhart’s Landscaping.

Ross is survived by his wife of 35 years, Christina Boxell of Decatur, IN; 2 daughters, Kylyee (Steven) McDonald and Brianna “Berna” Boxell both of Decatur, IN; 2 brothers, Dewayne Boxell of Lake City, FL, Mark Boxell of Nokomis, FL; 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Leona K. Boxell in 1989.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, with a visitation prior to the service from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
