Samuel J. Braun

Samuel J. “Sam” Braun, 65, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born in Decatur, IN, on September 16, 1959, the son of William A. and Violet F. (Minick) Braun.

He was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and was a 1978 Adam Central graduate. He was a self-employed handyman.

Sam is survived by his three brothers, Jerry Braun (Kadie Luther) of Celina, OH, Randy (Kelli) Braun of Decatur, IN, and Chris (Amy) Braun of Fort Wayne, IN.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike and Dan Braun.

The Rite of Committal will take place at a later date in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Father David Ruppert will be presiding.

Memorials may be given to ACCF Angel Cancer Fund.
