Sharon E. (Kolter) Doty

Sharon E. Doty, 67, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday evening, February 4, 2025, at Adams Memorial Hospital. She was born in Decatur, IN, on December 3, 1957, the daughter of the late Karl K. and Elizabeth E. “Ebbie” (Hersh) Kolter. On April 3, 1977, she married Sgt. John E. Doty, he preceded her in death on January 24, 1994.

She is survived by her niece, Nicole Kolter of Huntertown, IN; her nephew, Benjamin Kolter of Decatur, IN.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Michael K. Kolter.

A Private Graveside Service with her family, was held in Decatur Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Adams County Animal Shelter.
