Shirley L. (Garner) Adams

Shirley L. Adams, 85, of Bluffton, Indiana formerly of Decatur, died on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Christian Care in Bluffton. Shirley was born on May 16, 1937 in Decatur to the late Paul and Velma (Niblick) Garner.

Shirley attended Decatur Church of God. She was involved in the Monroe Happy Homemakers Club; loved to crochet afghans; loved watching baseball, especially her grandkids and the Major League. She enjoyed eating at Taco Bell and Burger King and her favorite flower was the Petunia.

Shirley is survived by her 3 sons, Kevin (Sandy) Adams, Steve Adams both of Decatur and Randy (Glenda) Adams of Rockford, OH; 2 daughters, Cindy (Brian) Beitler of Decatur and Bobbie Jo (Mike) Hicks of Pensacola, FL; companion, Roger Krick of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Shirley is preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Garner, 3 sisters, Marty Stetler, Betty Sheets and Jean Eyanson and a daughter-in-law, Kimm Adams.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, with calling 2 hours prior from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Chaplain Kris McPherson will be officiating. Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to ProMedica Hospice.
