Shirley A. (Trump) Eloph

Shirley A. Eloph, 90, of Decatur, IN passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Adams Memorial Hospital.  She was born on May 23, 1932 in Watseka, IL to the late Curtis L. and Bertha M. (Fleming) Trump. On September 30, 1950, Shirley married Raymond F. Eloph, he preceded her in death on August 11, 2004.

Shirley graduated from Montpelier Harrison Township High School in 1950. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Shirley was an avid basketball fan especially for IU. She loved reading Amish books, watching hummingbirds at her feeders and her petunias flourish. Shirley also loved doing jigsaw puzzles and word searches. Most of all Shirley loved spending time with her family.

Shirley is survived by 2 sons, Richard (Janet) Eloph of Decatur, IN and Robert (Dawn) Eloph of Kimmell, IN; a daughter, Patricia (Don) Thomas of Decatur, IN; 12 grandchildren 37 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Trump and 2 sisters, Betty Martin and Mary Stucky.

A 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, with Rev. Whitney West officiating. Calling will be prior from 9:30-11:00 and Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens in Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are to First Baptist Church.
