Teresa K. (Buckingham) Stevenson

Teresa Kay (Buckingham) Stevenson of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Friday, June 12th, 2026. She was born on March 24th 1953 in Decatur, IN to Paul L. and Beverly A. (Gilbert) Buckingham.

She graduated from Bellmont High School, and subsequently moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she met her husband James L. Stevenson. 

Teresa was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She was a talented pianist, playing in the Cannedy Jazz band for many years.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer “Gigi” (Mark) Mangahas and Kathleen “Kitti” Stevenson both of Phoenix, Arizona; sisters, Kathy Buckingham Baker
(Craig Barkley), Debra Braun (Phil), brother, Kevin Buckingham (Laurie).

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James L. Stevenson; her sister Melanie L. Macke; nephews Douglas J. Braun and Jameson D. Braun. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 12th 2026 from Noon-2:00pm with a Memorial Service immediately following at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
